FredT300B > Voigt pipes using Fostex FE166E 6" drivers. The enclosure is made of 3/4" birch veneer plywood with painted mdf accents.
FredT300B > The Voigt pipes stand 72" tall and use Fostex FE166E drivers. These are the same drivers used in the Cain & Cain Abby, which inspired the cosmetic finishing.
FredT300B > Finally, in the upstairs listening room connected to the Bottlehead Paramours. These speakers are a good match for any 2 watt or greater SET amp.
FredT300B > The painted port baffles and toilet seats (driver baffles).
FredT300B > One completed enclosure minus its base, standing beside a Magepan 1.6QR for size comparison. This is a very easy enclosure to build. It could be done with a simple handsaw, a scrollsaw for the cutouts, and a drill.
FredT300B > The subwoofer behind the Anorexiarray is an older Advent sub whose foam surround 10" driver recently bit the dust. The replacement driver shown is a 10" Dayton sheilded DVC which fit into the 1.5 cu ft enclosure nicely in a sealed configuration. In room response is flat to about 25hz.
