Early 19th century indentured servitude contract which states that "William Mew, aged 14 years..being a poor boy of the parish of..." It goes on to state that "he shall not commit fornication nor play at cards, dice tables, or any other unlawful games, he shall not haunt taverns or playhouses nor absent himself from his said Master's service day or night...". Sounds even worse than working for Wal Mart.
