  • This is how the enclosure looks with the panels loose-fitted together and the front panel installed per the instructions. The lip is 1-1/2" deep. The woofer hole is pre cut. The hole for the horn must be cut by the builder, but it's an easy task. This hole, along with holes for the speaker terminals and ports MUST be cut before the enclosure is assembled.

  • Slats are included for use as standoffs for installing a perforated metal grill, which I have no use for. With a bit of trimming, one of the shorter slats can be used as a front panel brace.

  • Each of the longer slats can be trimmed one inch and used as a side panel brace. They should be positioned about halfway between the front and back panel recesses and their position should be marked with a pencil so pilot holes can be drilled in the side panels for three screws that will hold them in place while the glue dries. The side slats are pre-cut at an angle that sets their front surface parallel to the front and back panels.

  • The interior volume and depth are minimal, and the woofer must be carefully selected for TS parameters that are appropraite for a 1.6cu ft enclosure. I'm using the Eminence Delta 12LFA because I already have a pair.
