  • Eros MKII, MTM design using 7" Vifa Premium Line Series Woofers and Scan Speak D2905-9500 1" Textile Dome tweeters, with series crossovers using Alpha Core 12 ga inductors & NorthCreek Harmony caps. A tube-friendly design that sounds really good with a 300B SET amp. Plans available from speakerbuilder.net. These modest looking speakers are among the best I have heard, and for several years they were in the Houston Audio Society's meeting room as our reference speakers.

  • Here's a situation we guys with understanding wives and girlfriends DON'T have. I feel sorry for any man who has to come home from work every night to handle this kind of problem. Much better to hear "OH, you got another pair of seven foot tall speakers. COOL!!!" But I do appreciate her woofers.
